Unit 2: Political Beliefs and Behaviors

Description: In this unit, you will gain an understanding of how individual citizens hold a variety of beliefs about their government, its leaders, and the U.S. political system. These beliefs form the basis of U.S. political culture and you will learn how these beliefs are formed, how they evolve, and the processes by which they are transmitted. How voters participate and behave will be examined by exploring the factors of public opinion, ideology, political parties, interest groups, and the media.
